Chi Hi Hockey Blueline Meeting
January 23, 2007 Minutes
At the Chippewa Youth Hockey Ice Rink
Present: Patti Darley, Gayle Klitzke, Lisa Moelter, Coach Parker, Deb Peterson(JV had a makeup game in EC)
- Coach’s Update-
- Spaghetti Feed Update/Pizza Sale Results-We made $1865.95 (+$60 iff Pitsch comes in) on the Spaghetti Feed. Thanks to all who helped. We sold 371 Pizza coupons for $2226 profit. This does not count the buyouts!
- Ideas on how to raise the funds for next year- Committee decided that maybe we should cut out sandwiches, paying for hotel, etc. and allow each player to pay for his own expenses. This would perhaps cut out the need for the extra fundraiser (Pizza sale this year). Patti will hand out a questionnaire at the March banquet to the undergrad families asking for their opinions on how to proceed next year.
- Faculty Appreciation night will be held February 3rd against Memorial. Teachers will wear the shirts on Friday the 2nd. Kaitlin will make a list for Coach/Announcers. Coach will talk to game announcers and set up.
- Parents Night is Saturday, February 10th. 12 Senior players will be introduced with their parents after the first period. Patti will contact Tara Krista and find out names of cheerleaders and their parents. Kaitlin will prepare list for Coach and announcers of all seniors/parents.
- Player CD-Chris Maslonkowski will contact a student and see if she will put together a CD w/ pictures and music for the varsity and make copies for the boys-we will pay ~$75 for this. Coach suggested that we contact Mr. Hubbard and ask him to put something together for the JV. Patti will contact Tom Hubbard.
- Banquet will be held Wednesday, March 14th at 6PM at Chi HI. Jane’s Catering will provide the food. Senior Parents will be reminded of the tradition of having a collage of their players up on the wall. Coach will take care of awards. We will need to form a list of setup/cleanup help. Patti will make a RSVP form and distribute to players. We will pay for players and coaches meals for the banquet.
- Blueline Club Members for next year are needed. We will all contact the undergrad parents to ask for involvement.
- Booster Club news-We need two Parent Reps (JV) to replace Chris and Gayle for next year. It was suggested that we have one junior and one sophomore parent.
