Chi Hi Hockey Blueline Meeting
March 6, 2007 Minutes
At the Chippewa Youth Hockey Ice Rink

Attending: Kelly Begley, Patti Darley, Pam Kelly, Gayle Klitzke, Sandy Hysell

1. Coach wasn’t present –No Update

2. $7232.00 was raised in fundraisers this year, $4000 was brought in from Piff’s Pizza sales, $1250 from the NW State Fair, and $1982 from the Spaghetti feed. (Kell Container made a donation of $200 toward the spaghetti feed). Balance in the account is around $4500, when final payments are made after the banquet should have around $2800.

3. Banquet will be March 14th at 6:00 pm at Chi Hi cafeteria. Kelly B., Pam K. and Patty D. will help with setup. Pam will bring extra plates and the cake. Gayle will help with clean up and a few other parents will help.

4. Gayle gave a Booster update, there are still some Booster tickets out that need to be collected. Gayle will contact Varsity and Pam will contact JV parents. The Booster club bought new scoreboards for the inside gym this year.

5. There was discussion on making a donation to the Schoof fund. Patti will check with the school and Kelly will find out where the fund is located.

6. We agreed to look into purchasing our own video camera. Would look into having a student do the video taping and pay him/her. The camera would be a part of the ChiHi Boys Hockey Team equipment.

7. There was a suggestion on making senior night a little more special for the senior. One parent suggested the whole team be present on the ice, forming a tunnel for the seniors to go through to meet the parents and the coaches and shake their hands. Something to look into for next year.
